About
My world…
My name is Florian and I am coming from the city of Foix in Ariège, in the south of France. After having spend 3 years in the high school “Gabriel Fauré”, I passed my « Baccalauréat Sciences Mathématique », French equivalent to A-levels (Mathematics, Physics, Biology).
Attracted by computers world, I went to the city of Toulouse to study mathematics and computer Science in the University Paul Sabatier during 3 years in order to get some scientific knowledge
Those years were also under the star of the “japanimation” where manga heroes fight monster in a black and white universe and where anime comedy makes you laughing out loud!
Mathematic and mechanic are good field but for 4 minutes only, especially when you want to design and develop software! Thus, wanting to go further in computer science and to be trained in a formation close to the professional world, I integrated the IUP ISI (Ingénierie des Systèmes Informatiques) fo 4 years.
The two first year were the occasion to discover the software engineering and allowed me to confirm that I am really keen on doing things such as programming, designing and so on :p!
The two second years are the Master ISI, French equivalent to a Master of Science in Software Engineering.
During the first year of this Master (the M1) I was able to participate to various projects such as Kplato, a project management software from the KDE project. I really enjoyed the project and was eventually able to participate to the aKademy, the world conference for KDE, which was in Glasgow (Scotland).
Since January 2009, I work for JPMorgan in Glasgow.
